Four minutes is the perfect time to engage with the other guests. Four minutes is enough time to get to know someone briefly. At a CCA event we offer a second round to decide if you have a connection with that person for only friendship or possibly romance.

• Aruba is hot all year, so we do not operate a very formal dress code

• We recommend dressing smart casual.

• Speed Dating is conducted sitting down so it’s your top half that’s primarily seen.

• A suggestion would be to wear the kind of thing you might wear going out for a relaxed dinner.

• Men: no heavy Motif T- Shirts or baggy cargo shorts, please.

• Socks and Sandals are a definite no!

• Ladies leave the bikini tops for the beach.

• Maybe a noticeable accessory to help attendees remember you.

• A statement necklace, hair ties or earrings might help you stand out.

• Your clothes should always be clean, free from creases, fresh smelling, in a good state of repair and suited to your build.

• Wear what you are comfortable with but don't forget that first impressions count!

• Most of all, have fun choosing what to wear for speed dating success and enjoy the night.

• This could be the first of very many great dates to come.

We do our best to keep the event running to schedule which means the event will last just approximately two to three hours.

Relatively strict. As much as we live in a gender-equal society; some people want to date people older, or younger. The wider age groups 25 – 40 & 41 – 70 allow this to happen at our events. We know this isn’t suitable for everyone, but we aim to try and cater for all.

We strive to ensure that the event is not oversubscribed, we like to offer an even balance of men and women for a successful event. By booking in advance, we can gauge the numbers and ensure and better mix and balance of the guests attending.

There is no guarantee that everyone will get a match. But at a CCA event friendships are also made between guests. If you connect with someone then you will know whether you want to see that person again.

Our in-person events cost 65 Aruban Florins ($36) for each event. This includes a drink on arrival and a snack during the break. It also includes the WhatsApp reminders before the event; the professional hosting of the evening and emailing of your matches afterwards.

The CCA website will allow tickets to be purchased for future Speed Dating events.

The payments are in Great British Pounds but will be processed in Aruban Florins. Your bank statement will show Caribbean Connections and the fee amount. We do not have any control over third party processing charges. See our Ts & Cs for more information.

After attending an event, within 24-hours we will enter your choices and see how many people have matched with you. For Friendship or Romance.

Our matching engine will send you an email with the other people’s email address. If you don't see this email, please check your SPAM/JUNK folders. From there it is up to you to make contact and take it from there. Chances are that you will be pleasantly surprised as to how many matches you will get!

To protect everyone involved we will not forward anyone's details unless there is a match.
